On behalf of the 18th International Student Seminar organizing committee, I am terribly sorry to inform you that we must cancel the 18th International Student Seminar on account of the COVID-19 epidemic in Japan.

The situation has worsened, and we cannot be 100% sure that the meeting could be held safely. Based on the current situation, the Graduate School of Biostudies requested us to cancel the 18th ISS. Unfortunately, a simple postponement of the 18th ISS is not possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and I hope that our collective action contributes to minimizing the spread of COVID-19.
